CANCELLATION OF TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNINGS 

CANCELLATION OF TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNINGS ISSUED BY THE SOLOMON ISLANDS METEOROLOGICAL SERVICE AT 12:30 PM THIS AFTERNOON ON MONDAY 08TH OF MAY 2017.

ALL TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNINGS PREVIOUSLY ISSUED FOR MAKIRA, TEMOTU RENNELL AND BELLONA PROVINCES ARE NOW CANCELLED.

SEVERE TROPICAL CYCLONE DONNA IS NOW MOVING AWAY FROM SOLOMON ISLANDS.

HOWEVER FRESH TO STRONG WINDS OF 20 TO 25 KNOTS WITH ROUGH SEAS AND MODERATE SWELLS ARE STILL EXPECTED OVER WATERS OF TEMOTU, MAKIRA AND RENNELL & BELLONA PROVINCES FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW.

HEAVY RAIN AT TIMES WITH THUNDERSTORMS IS LIKELY TO CONTINUE OVER PARTS OF TEMOTU TODAY.

THIS WILL BE THE FINAL TROPICAL CYCLONE BULLETIN FOR CYCLONE DONNA.
